Gail Nicholson, MA, LPC, Personal and Career Counseling

About Gail

I am passionate about working with individuals who want to explore and connect with an authentic sense of self as a basis for defining their lives and work lives. I bring over 30 years of experience as a personal and career counselor, teacher of career and life planning, academic advisor, small business owner and facilitator of groups and workshops. I enjoy working with people with different backgrounds and from all parts and levels of the working world.

I offer a blend of personal and career counseling to provide a holistic approach to career and life planning, workplace and business issues. My typical client is interested in finding direction, meaning and fulfillment in their life and work life, but has become overwhelmed or discouraged with the process. They may also be suffering from anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or experiencing high levels of stress at work. I work collaboratively with people in transition resulting from a lay-off, injury, divorce or other challenge.

I provide an in-depth assessment and coaching to help you identify and begin to explore options that are a good match for you. This approach can help you define and clarify a more satisfying direction because the planning process is based on what really matters to you.
